A blend of Italian and Scottish flavours and techniques, can you think of any thing better?

The story of this wonderful place began in 1890s when Luca Scappaticcio, a man who had come to settle in Scotland and had secured himself a position in the kitchens of one of Scotland’s more prominent hotels. It was here that he learned the art of creating luxury ice cream, combine that with the flavours and textures he brought with him from Italy and you’re left with something amazing.

And in 1908 he made the decision of opening the first S. Luca ice cream parlour in the seaside town of Musselburgh, the second branch in MORNINGSIDE opened its doors 15 years ago and has been serving finger licking food since.
